Benefits of Membership
Membership in the state association shows your support for VMGA as your voice to the VCE-MG program leadership at Virginia Cooperative Extension and Virginia Tech. Members receive timely distribution of our newsletter, The VMGA Report, providing information about association business and news of local unit and association happenings around the state. VMGA members also receive discounted registration fees at VMGA education events. A Membership Directory is provided to facilitate networking among members.
The Membership Committee
VMGA’s Membership Committee is tasked with maintaining reliable contact information for each member – not an easy task in this day of changing email addresses! Committee chairs rely on the Membership Chair for names of members who have expressed an interest in committee work. The Chair prepares mailing lists and information for the Membership Directory and manages the membership application and renewal processes annually.
Join us! New members and renewing members have the option of submitting an online Membership Application and paying online see below; or by mailing a check (made payable to “VMGA, Inc.) and a completed application form to the Membership Chair (Tonya Harper, VMGA Membership Chair, 67 Misty Hills Ln., Troutville, VA 24175). Renewing members submit a Membership Application to ensure current choices for participation and contact information. Life Members are asked to keep VMGA informed of any changes in contact information by emailing the Membership Chair. Questions? Contact the Membership Chair!

Membership Categories
Active VCE-MG:
Trainees, Interns, Master Gardeners, Emeritus Gardeners or Extension Staff
Auxiliary:
Those who were formerly active VCE-MGs, are no longer contributing hours, but wish to continue to support VMGA; cannot vote or hold office
Continuing:
Active members can also choose to become a Continuing Member, one-time payment, valid as long as you remain an active VCE-MG. Click here to purchase a Continuing Membership.
Make your life easy and choose a subscription! You will be charged yearly on the same date. You can cancel your membership anytime by clicking the login button on the top of our website. You will be notified yearly, via email, before your subscription renews.
This is a one time payment for membership.
It is valid as long as you remain an active VCE-MG.

For individuals or businesses interested in supporting the work of VMGA who are not Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners. Members cannot vote or hold office.

We are grateful for your donation! Contributions made to VMGA go into the MG College Scholarship fund. Should you like to donate to the Virginia Master Gardener Association Endowed Fund, please contact VMGA’s liaison in the CALS Office of Development, Crystal Graham, who is able to help with one-time or recurring donations or contributions of stocks or securities.
