Unit Support Committee

The Unit Support Committee is chaired by Frank Reilly.  The members of the Unit Support Committee include the individual Unit Representatives of each local MG Unit and Kerry Goldmeyer.  The Committee exists to:

• help local MG Units with management problems
• help new local MG Units get organized particularly with respect to choosing whether to incorporate, obtain tax-exempt status and other crucial legal aspects of forming
• provide a focal point for information exchange; and
• maintain a MG speaker's bureau.

In the future we will post articles here concerning such organizational activities as forming an association, obtaining non-profit and tax-exempt status and arranging for bulk-mailing.  Watch for further developments.

It is time to update your unit's information with us.  We often ask ourselves "...who ya gonna call..."  Unless you send us this information we cannot answer that question.  Please retrieve a questionnaire by clicking on one of the buttons below.  Fill it out and send it to our Secretary Angela Cingale.

Services we provide:

1. The VMGA Board has agreed to make member information available for local MG Units and others to help these units with their marketing effort.  A strict policy has been developed to ensure the privacy of our members.  Click here to learn more.
2. The Unit Support Committee will also facilitate an electronic mailing for local units.  Local units desiring an electronic mailing must provide the message they wish to distribute to the VMGA webmaster who will email the members in such a way to avoid distributing the mailing list.  For more information please contact webmaster@vmga.net
